CP KIDS ELEMENTARY is our Sunday morning environment for elementary-aged kids, grades 1-6. We believe the Bible should never be boring, worship can be totally rocking and good leaders care about investing in kids lives. We strive to provide an atmosphere that is high energy, enjoyable and makes sense to kids. Our time is framed around a monthly virtue every child should embrace as they live a life that follows Christ.
The monthly virtues, like Honesty, Compassion, Friendship, Cooperation, and Love are reinforced each week with a bottom line concept that drives that virtue home and helps kids apply it in their daily life.
These Godly virtues are systematically taught over a three-year track. We cycle through 150 Bible stories and use intensive small group relationships, dynamic large group teaching, and high-energy kid-led worship to equip your child to live for Christ. And ultimately, to assist you in training up your child as part of a Christian home.

WHAT HAPPENS AT CP KIDS?
Kids are challenged to trust God, make wise choices, and build lasting friendships. Here's what a typical morning at CP KIDS ELEMENTARY looks like.
CHECK-INEach child is greeted at the Check-In Desk and signed in by their parent or an individual over 18. We have a thorough, secure process of checking in your children which takes a minute or two of your time, but insures that your child is safe and their experience is even better. If you have never attended CP KIDS before, you will be asked to fill out a registration card which will minimize the time it takes to check in your child in the future.
SMALL GROUP (Plug-In Activity)Kids participate with their grade specific (1st & 2nd, 3rd & 4th, 5th & 6th) small group in an activity intended to introduce the month's virtue or truth, and the one bottom line we want kids to walk away with and remember that morning. These small group times are critical in forming relationships both with the leader and other kids present. We highly encourage parents to bring their child every week, in order to effectively build these relationships. That way they get connected and we have the highest chance of establishing relationships that are going to matter when they need it most.
LARGE GROUP (Worship & Story)After the Small Group Plug-In, kids are moved to the Large Group environment. Here we bring the Bible to life through hilarious skits, high-energy kid-led worship, live storytellers, props, costumes and video segments. We strive to make this portion of CP KIDS memorable in a kid-relevant way. We want kids to walk away remembering the day's story from the Bible with such enthusiasm they can't help but talk about it on the way home and the next day at school. Don't be surprised if you hear about exploding soda bottles, slime spraying, and pies splatted in leaders faces. We'll do whatever it takes to make the days story memorable.
SMALL GROUP (Catch-On Activity)Kids participate with their same grade specific small group again in an activity intended to implement and follow up what they just learned in Large Group. Small Group Leaders provide further conversation and ideas as to how to apply practically the day's bottom line.
CHECK-OUTCheck-out happens in the same location where your child is checked in. Though long lines are rare, please be patient as we take extra security precautions to ensure your child leaves our program with the right adult.
HOW DOES CP KIDS PARTNER WITH PARENTS?Step 1: Get up and go to church! We will do everything we can to make it worth the trip.Step 2:Take your kids to CP KIDS and then attend the adult worship service.Step 3: Follow through with your primary role as the spiritual leader in your child's life by taking advantage of the 'Parent Resources' we make available to you on Sunday mornings. We only have one hour a week with your child compared to up to 75 hours you have. Thus, we can only begin the conversation. If it's to be implemented and make a difference in your child's life, it's imperative that you take advantage of these resources.
