When Katie’s mom dropped her off at CP Kids, she was nervous. Her family had never been to a church like this, and honestly, she wasn’t sure how Katie would react. But as they stepped into the designated check-in area, greeted by background-checked volunteers, and walked down the themed hallway into a classroom clearly designed for children, her daughter rushed into a space created just for her. Katie’s mom breathed a sigh of relief, taking the security tag with one less point of anxiety. This was clearly church for kids. Not only did that relief free her to be present and fully enjoy the encouragement of the adult service, but on the drive home, Katie wouldn’t stop talking about how much God loved her and how she learned to pray. Why are we starting a "campus" vs. "planting a separate church?"
Because we believe we can serve the Payson community more effectively by multiplying what God has already built here rather than starting everything from scratch.
Launching as one church in multiple locations allows the new campus to begin with strong leadership, healthy systems, proven ministry strategies, and shared resources already in place. Instead of spending years building infrastructure — staffing, governance, finances, and operational systems — we can focus immediately on what matters most: reaching people, making disciples, and building a healthy local church community.
A campus model allows us to move faster, steward resources wisely, and provide long-term stability — while still creating a distinct local community shaped by the people and needs of Payson.
In short, we are not sending something new — we are multiplying something healthy.

Why can't we add more services to our current facility for growth?
Technically we can. But the effectiveness is limited. CenterPoint meets a "Sunday morning" culture. We're utilizing every minute of Sunday morning already over 4 services.
Will the Payson campus be the same church as CenterPoint in Orem?
Yes — in the ways that matter most. The Payson campus will share the same mission, teaching, culture, and ministry philosophy as CenterPoint in Orem.
At the same time, it will have its own local leadership, community, and personality shaped by the people of Payson.

What will be the same — and what will be different — about the new campus?
The same warm atmosphere, although in a different facility. Yes, there will be a cafe serving coffee. It will feature live worship lead by CenterPoint bands you're used to with the same songs we currently sing; the same Sunday message broadcast from Orem, and its own dedicated staff including a full time Campus Pastor whose sole job is to shepherd the Payson campus community.
Why are we looking to south Utah County to plant the new campus?
South County is already the residence of more than a third of our church (a staple for successful campus launches) but more importantly the mission field in this region is largely unmet.
When will we launch?
We plan to be fully functioning and launch January 3rd with a formal grand opening on January 10th.
Will there be services for kids and youth similar to the Orem campus?
We plan to launch with CP Kids — our church experience for children that runs alongside adult services. Youth gatherings will be developed in the future.
Earlier this year, we intentionally moved our primary youth programming to Wednesday nights at our Orem campus. This allows students from Payson to participate midweek with the full community of our junior high and high school students.

How will my donation to the campus fund be used?
While past donations funded the purchase of the building and construction costs of renovating, the current donations are being leveraged for furnishings, AV, cosmetics, and all the amenities that go into making a building feel like home.
